Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program

In the midst of the opioid epidemic, communities across the Country face increased demands for prevention and substance abuse services and we are committed to implementing and supporting such programs for the counties which we serve and partner.

To help combat this crisis, CorrHealth, along with behavioral health organizations are increasingly utilizing evidence-based practices such as medication assisted treatment (MAT). Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) combines targeted, FDA-approved medication with behavioral therapy and sustained follow-up care which helps deliver a more complete level of care and ensure continuum of care. Under CorrHealth’s comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plan, medications can be prescribed to assist in relieving withdrawal symptoms and/or block the euphoric effects of the substance.
