Natalie’s first career was in law enforcement as a 911 dispatcher. She then pursued nursing, which allowed her to delve into the different facets that make up healthcare. She began her nursing career on a Pediatric Congenital Cardiac Unit, then switched to the Emergency Room, following in the footsteps of both her mom and her sister. During graduate school, she worked in an operating room while going through graduate school. After obtaining her master’s degree in nursing administration, Natalie worked for the state of Texas as a surveyor and investigator. Her recent experience includes the role of Director of Nursing over multiple facilities, as well as being the Director of Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management.
Natalie appreciates and cultivates the relationships she has with the HSAs at the Texas facilities. She works alongside them every day to foster the best work environment possible for staff, jail administration, and patients.
