At CorrHealth, we are proud to recognize the hard work and dedication of our team members who make a significant impact, often behind the scenes. One such team member is Patricia Frank, our Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Claims Coordinator. Patricia plays a crucial part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Here’s a closer look at her role, her dedication to CorrHealth, and the amazing contributions she makes every day.
A Day in the Life of Patricia Frank
Patricia starts each day with precision and focus, entering accounts payable bills, approving team member expenses, and reconciling offsite claims. Her attention to detail ensures that all expenses for each facility are carefully scrutinized, helping CorrHealth accurately forecast and manage budgets. “We are proud of the work we do scrutinizing expenses for each facility and each type of purchase to ensure we are accurately recording, forecasting, and saving money for our sites,” Patricia explains.
Once a week, she leads the process of reviewing and making payments, followed by preparing reports needed by different facilities and departments. Her daily efforts not only support the finance department but also contribute to the overall financial health of CorrHealth.
A Behind-the-Scenes Essential
Patricia’s role is vital to keep everything running like a well-oiled machine. She stays connected with the team throughout the day via Teams Chat, always available to address issues, answer questions, and share insights. Her constant communication ensures that no detail is overlooked and that the accounting team is synchronized.
Krista, Director of Finance, highlights Patricia’s proactive nature: “She is such a team player, jumping in to help at all times. She’s protective of CorrHealth in her dealings with vendors while remaining professional, and she works tirelessly to save money, whether it be negotiating with claims or watching expense reports like a hawk.”
Passion for the Job
Patricia loves working in the finance department because of the supportive and dynamic team. “I love our team of accounting professionals, all of whom not only do their job but excel at making sure we are improving our processes and doing everything we can to save money,” she says. She appreciates the autonomy given to each team member and values the collaborative work culture that CorrHealth fosters.
Knowing that her efforts contribute to the success of CorrHealth and the facilities we serve motivates Patricia to deliver exceptional results every day. “Our work culture is very appreciative of each person’s contributions,” she shares, and that recognition fuels her drive to go above and beyond.
More Than Just Numbers
Outside of work, Patricia has a love for numbers that extends into her hobbies—she’s a skilled poker player who enjoys the strategy and friendships that come with the game. When she’s not crunching numbers or playing cards, you can find her spending time with her beloved pets, which include a Great Pyrenees, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and two cats. She’s also a fan of competitive rock climbing, a sport her children excelled in as competitors and now coach.
Appreciating Patricia’s Contributions
Patricia’s dedication, skill, and team spirit have earned her high praise from her colleagues. Krista, Director of Finance, sums it up perfectly: “Pat is brilliant, funny, a darn good poker player, and just so sweet. I don’t know what we’d do without her!”
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Patricia for all her hard work and dedication. Her contributions help keep CorrHealth’s operations running smoothly and ensure our financial practices uphold the highest standards. Patricia, your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for everything you do.
Thank you for being a vital part of the CorrHealth family!
