Who We Are
Our vision.Our story.
We believe the correctional industry is one of the most exciting fields today. We’re obsessed with the power of ‘what if’ and consider it an honor to connect, encourage, and educate through our work. It’s a fact that the correctional and inmate healthcare industries are changing, and have become more complex. We wholeheartedly believe it’s our responsibility to deliver a customized, hands-on, and trusted approach for inmate healthcare programs and services in county detention centers, and one that provides utmost value and consideration for the precious tax dollar. It is no longer enough to provide the status quo. At CorrHealth, we endeavor toward work that drives innovation and generates results to enrich and change lives.
Our People
Visionaries.Experts.Collaborators.
It’s not our work life; it’s our life’s work. This is the mindset of our people; it’s our passion. Our people are high performing communicators, compassionate caregivers, and are dedicated, adaptive collaborators. We are deeply engaged and passionate about our work, which is built around close-knit relationships; understanding, listening, and asking questions is key. These effectively represent our essence as people and as a company.
OUR CORE VALUES
Driven by passion.Guided by heart.
Our core values are founded on integrity, delivering true and unfiltered transparency, building and supporting strong partnerships, and a firm commitment to always ‘Do Right’ by our team members, our patients, our partner counties, and the communities in which we proudly serve and support.
Transparency
Keeping it real.
CorrHealth is the only provider that provides unfiltered transparency into our financial and operational models, our business practices, and all aspects of our partnership. We do so because it’s ethical; it’s responsible; it’s common sense and the right thing to do.
Do Right
We DO RIGHT not what is easy.
Our relationships and partnerships are values which make up the fabric of our framework. Strong, stable, and successful relationships are determined and guided by trust, respect, open lines of communication and they are driven by the space where expectation meets results. As your trusted provider-partner, we are committed to always “Do Right” which lies at the core of our foundation, who we are, and in everything that we do. We wholeheartedly believe you should expect more because you deserve better!
Commitment in Action
What are they saying?
Partnering with CorrHealth is one of the best decisions Wichita County has made since I’ve held the Captain position. I sleep much better at night knowing CorrHealth is here, having CorrHealth here helps our operation run much more smoothly, and I highly recommend them to any agency looking for a professional organization who does what they say they’ll do and seeking a true and highly engaged partnership.
Lisa Patterson
CorrHealth is a great employer who really cares about their employees. A company that goes above & beyond to remind their employees that they are truly a vital key in the success of the everyday operations of this business. Just like their motto says, they are always ready to Do Right!
Katie Hunter, LPN/CCHP
CorrHealth is transparent from their financial model to their conversations about what they can and can’t do. They are trustworthy, and you get the sense that our 150-bed facility is just as important to them as a 3000-bed facility elsewhere.
Matt Elwell
With our previous provider, we felt like we were left out on an island and asked to fend for ourselves and we were expected to do so with very little training or support. They managed prisons and didn’t understand the county jail environment. It’s clear CorrHealth knows our business and they genuinely care about us. Our ownership and leaders listen to us, they do what they say they’ll do, and they support us like no other organization I’ve ever known. As an example, after our transition, they had trainers here for 3-weeks, which was tremendous, and I love that our trainers come back regularly to visit with us and train us. Again, support like this was something I had never experienced before. Everything they do is for the betterment of me, and my team, our county, and the community. They make my job so much easier.

GIVING BACK
CorrHealthcares.
From the beginning, CorrHealth was founded and has been led with heart. We exist, in part, to provide inspiration, hope, and support to meaningful causes that improve the lives of our people, our families, and the people that live in the communities in which we so proudly work and reside. We are positive agents of change who believe we have the potential to the bring out the best in our world. Our purpose guides us, because we know that anything is possible as long as we work together. Along with those that deeply impact our team-members and their families, our partners, and our industry, we proudly support the following causes: veteran’s groups, families of peace officers and first responders, Special Olympics, cancer and Alzheimer’s research, animal rescue, Habitat for Humanity, homelessness and poverty and other such causes.
Special Olympics
Few things touch your heart and spirit more than giving to those with intellectual disabilities. Seeing the smiles on their faces as these athletes realize their importance and receive their medals is an incredible experience for everyone involved. CorrHealth is proud to be involved in the Annual Special Olympics Games of Texas.
The Women’s Storybook Project
The Women’s Storybook Project connects children with their incarcerated mothers through the joys of literature. Through the program, each incarcerated mother is provided the opportunity to send a book to their child with a recorded reading and a special message from them. As the recipient of four Governor’s Criminal Justice Volunteer Service awards, the Women’s Storybook Project’s 200 volunteers send out 350 books each month.
Great Cycle Challenge
The Great Cycle Challenge is one of the largest cycling events supporting the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. Since CorrHealth’s inception, CorrHealth has recruited a passionate cycling team who has raised well over $100,000 since the event’s inception in 2017.
