Inspired with Purpose, with a Clear Vision, Unrivaled Passion, and People.
Eight years ago today, Todd took a leap of faith and launched CorrHealth—believing deeply that we could deliver a standard of care, a great place to build a successful career, and a partnership experience much better than anyone else. For those who know him, you understand that his drive comes from a deeply personal and profound place.
Much of Todd’s inspiration stems from his parents, who instilled the values of strong and effective leadership, the importance of giving back, and making a meaningful difference. His commitment is also deeply personal, which is shaped by the significant struggles of his younger sister, who suffered a traumatic brain injury after being hit by a car while in high school. Her journey through addiction and time spent in county detention centers in Colorado ignited Todd’s mission to improve the quality of medical, mental, and behavioral healthcare within detention facilities.
Today, we celebrate not just eight years of CorrHealth but also the purpose, passion, and people that continue to move us forward with a relentless commitment to always “Do Right” in all we serve and support and in everything we do.
Our Secret Sauce? It’s no secret at all… It’s our people who have a firm commitment to “Always Do Right.”
At CorrHealth, our strength is and always has been founded on our people. From our frontline nurses and medical professionals to our behind-the-scenes support teams, we’re united by a shared purpose: to show up with compassion, integrity, and excellence every single day.
“I love that our anniversary falls during Nurse and Officer Appreciation Week, a perfect alignment because everything we do, all that we’ve achieved, and everything we strive to improve rests squarely on the shoulders of our incredible team members. This week, as we’re reminded yet again that none of us do what we do alone, we recognize the vital roles and cohesiveness of our nurses and officers, it’s yet another reminder that our people are the heart of CorrHealth, who we are, what we stand for, and what we do.
On this anniversary, I pause to reflect on our journey thus far: all the late nights with just a couple of hours of sleep, the incredible emotions and stress, and the powerful memories created with every team member, every county partner, and friend who has trusted, supported, and believed in me and our mission.
With that, today and every day, I express my deepest gratitude to all of you. Thank you for your faith, passion, dedication, and heart, and thank you for all the important things you do for our team members, our patients, our county partners, and for us.
As we celebrate eight years, I am immensely proud and deeply grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey. I’m proud of the challenges we’ve faced and overcome, the milestones we’ve reached, and the incredible progress we’ve made, individually and collectively. Where we are today is a direct reflection of our people, passion, hard work, unwavering belief, and a shared purpose, and I thank you for that.
Looking ahead, our vision remains bold and focused. We are committed to growing alongside agencies that value and are committed to a high standard of care and a truly unrivaled partnership experience. We will continue to support our team members and their families and stay true to our mission of being an agent of positive change in the correctional healthcare industry.
From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU. Cheers to eight years—and to many more of growth, impact, and doing what others said couldn’t be done. I am truly and immensely grateful!” Todd Murphy – Founder/CEO
The importance of Who We Serve
Please remember what we do, and those we serve cannot be more important. Our population is grossly underserved; correctional healthcare may be the extent to which some of our patients have experienced in their lives. Therefore, their needs and our attention to them cannot be more important. Please always remember those we serve are somebody’s somebody—they may be your best friend’s brother, your neighbor’s mother, or your child… and one of them is Todd’s baby sister. Regardless of who they are, they are members of our community, and they need and deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and provided a high standard of care, which is what we do.
Never Standing Still
We don’t just adapt to the times—we lead. Whether introducing innovative mental health initiatives, investing in professional development, or setting ethical correctional healthcare standards, CorrHealth is always pushing forward.
Let’s Celebrate the Journey
This anniversary isn’t just a milestone—it’s a celebration of every person who’s helped shape CorrHealth into what it is today. Our amazing teams, our partners, and the individuals we serve have made this journey meaningful beyond words.
Here’s to the next chapter.
Eight is great, but we’re just getting started. The future of correctional healthcare is bright, and we’re proud to lead the way as an agent of positive change with purpose, passion, and people who genuinely care.
