At CorrHealth, we believe that excellent training is the key to delivering exceptional care, and Kristine Liggett, RN, CCHP, plays a vital role in bringing this philosophy to life. As our Operations Training Specialist, Kristine has spent the past year and nine months traveling to facilities, supporting teams, and helping ensure every CorrHealth team member is ready to deliver high-quality care with confidence, compassion, and clarity.
A Journey Rooted in Trust and Experience
Kristine’s journey to CorrHealth began with a call from her longtime colleague and friend, Melanie Dimas, who encouraged her to consider a new chapter. After nearly a decade of working together, Melanie knew Kristine’s passion for patient care and her dedication to excellence would be a perfect fit. That trust has proven to be well-placed—Kristine now plays a vital role in shaping how we train and support new and current team members across our sites.
A Flexible Role with a Consistent Mission
In her role, Kristine supports CorrHealth’s onboarding and operational training, helping ensure that our team members are not only equipped with the necessary tools but also encouraged every step of the way. While no two days look the same, she can often be found collaborating with facility staff, quickly adapting to new needs, and providing hands-on support to reinforce CorrHealth’s commitment to “Do Right.”
When asked what she enjoys most about her team, Kristine said, “I love the way everyone has their own unique expertise to contribute. I’ve learned so much from everyone — and about myself, too.” That spirit of humility and curiosity is at the heart of her approach.
A Lasting Impact on People and Culture
Kristine is motivated by CorrHealth’s philosophy and a shared commitment to achieving the highest standards in everything we do. She’s also recognized for her flexibility and willingness to step in wherever needed—a quality her colleagues greatly admire. As she states, “The need for the Training team is always changing. You have to be ready and always on your toes.”
Kristine’s impact hasn’t gone unnoticed. Erica, a teammate, shared:
“Kristine is incredibly attentive to both her patients and her team. She predicts the needs of her patients and isn’t afraid to take action. She’s approachable, kind, and always prepared to support anyone who reaches out. It’s been an honor to work alongside her.”
Melanie echoed that sentiment:
“Kristi has provided consistent leadership and support to the Broomfield site for nearly a year. She’s helped streamline operations, foster staff development, and build strong relationships with security. Having worked with her for over 15 years, I can confidently say she is one of the most dedicated and driven professionals I’ve encountered.”
Outside of work, Kristine enjoys staying active—hiking, exercising, and exploring local restaurants and breweries. But at heart, she’s a homebody who loves spending quality time with her friends, family, and dogs.
Thank you, Kristine, for all that you do. Your presence, passion, and positivity make CorrHealth better every day.
