Recruitment and retention are critical concerns in rural communities. Prior to engaging in a contract with CorrHealth, Taos County had worked with several national healthcare providers. In addition, providing quality, ongoing training and support for their health care teams was a crucial missing element that needed to be addressed. CorrHealth partnered with Taos County to provide the support and training their teams needed and has maintained a 98% retention rate in their four-year partnership with no litigation or negative outcomes, while decreasing overall costs for the county.
Recruitment is a challenge in rural counties like Taos County. We are happy to report that we have maintained a 98% retention rate during our time in Taos County and helped the county to decrease costs.
