Amanda brings over 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with her entire career dedicated to Correctional Health Care. She is known for her exceptional leadership, operational expertise, and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to incarcerated populations.

Throughout her career, Amanda has excelled in both clinical and administrative roles, beginning with a nursing position and then serving as Health Services Administrator. In this capacity, she has successfully led medical and mental health departments, developed and implemented policies to ensure high standards of care, and fostered strong collaboration between healthcare teams, correctional staff, and community partners.

Amanda has a deep passion for empowering teams to excel—she is driven to cultivate strong, effective teams that provide exceptional patient care in the correctional setting. Her supportive leadership style and focus on development help elevate staff performance and morale.

Her innovative approach to healthcare is exemplified by the design and launch of a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, which significantly expanded access to evidence-based care for individuals struggling with opioid and alcohol use disorders.

Amanda’s leadership strengths extend to recruitment, onboarding, and staff development, and her strong skills in interpersonal communication and data analysis have made her a cornerstone of operational success at CorrHealth.

Her dedication to excellence and patient care has earned her multiple accolades, including the Larimer County Sheriff’s Lifesaving Awards in both 2012 and 2022. Amanda’s extensive experience, proven leadership, and passion for improving both team performance and patient outcomes uniquely position her to thrive in her role as Director of Operations.
