Comal County, Texas
CorrHealth’s continuing partnership.
As one of the nation’s fastest-growing counties, CorrHealth recently celebrated its anniversary with Comal County. In 2020, they were just moving to the new, state-of-the-art, 582-bed facility, which was constructed to address the county’s growing population. The move allowed CorrHealth’s team to expand which included the addition of a full-time Physician’s Assistant (PA), 24/7 Registered Nurses (RN), and a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). CorrHealth also increased the existing Discharge Planner to full-time status as well. As a result, on-site programs and services have been maximized to limit unnecessary transports to various off-site providers.
CorrHealth is passionate about finding the right people for us, providing them with hands-on support, continuous professional development, and corrections’ specific training opportunities for their healthcare team, as well as ours.
