It's our passionand life's mission
It’s not our work life; it’s our life’s work. This is the mindset of our people; it’s our mission. Our people are high performing communicators, compassionate caregivers, and are reliable, adaptive collaborators. We are deeply engaged and passionate about our work, which is built around our close-knit team; listening, understanding, and taking action is key. ACCOUNTABLE TEAM MEMBERS
We GOT YOUR SIX.
Teamwork and discipline are essential parts of Military service. It is just as important at CorrHealth. Our team is built on mutual trust and commitment. Every one around you will have individual strengths and skills, that when combined create confidence and mission success.
DIRECTION AND LEADERSHIP
Veteran co-founded.
Structure and direction are indispensable at CorrHealth. As an organization that was co-founded by a Veteran, we are proud of our work and understand the necessity for reliable leaders. Our team is united toward our vision and receives clear direction on a daily basis. We ensure that everyone understands where we are headed and feels comfortable asking for direction when needed.
GIVING BACK
Because CorrHealth CARES
CorrHealth wholeheartedly believes in supporting our Veterans. We support several Veteran’s charities such as Carry the Load, whose mission is to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our Nation’s heroes. We’ve also supported other organizations who are working to raise awareness of Veteran suicide rates and also provide opportunities to share stories of service and sacrifice and gather in a safe and welcoming environment to face their challenges, begin to heal and find peace.
A Team Like No Other
The CorrHealth family.
Transitioning into the civilian sector from the Army wasn’t easy. After years of searching for a place in this world, I found a good fit as a deputy with LCJ, but it wasn’t the perfect fit. As a Correctional Nurse I’ve grown as a leader and found the perfect niche for my experiences in the military and law enforcement, and my healthcare calling.
Jessina Morse, Assistant Director of Nursing
I have found that there is a camaraderie with my teammates that I have seldom felt since leaving the military. I have found CorrHealth to be a Veteran positive company. There is a culture of unity at CorrHealth that makes it a great place for Veterans and everyone else.
Julia Koval, Nurse Practitioner/Medical
CorrHealth has given me the opportunity to help continue my drive of which I joined the Army, to help others, by aiding in advancing my education. Much like the Army, this is a family that entrusts and depends on each other to complete the mission.
Arnold Alaniz, Flex EMT
I decided to use my GI bill funds to obtain a Master’s Degree in Public Health in the hopes of continuing to grow and learn all I can to provide the best services and care to my community. I have always had a desire to help others, so my transition into the position of Discharge Planner at CorrHealth is a perfect fit for me.
Latresa Maxie-Roberson, MPH, Discharge Planner
There are veterans all through the ranks of CorrHealth, including senior leadership. We look for those traits that are part of every veteran-motivation, endurance, integrity, grit, and a focus to do the right thing. Come to CorrHealth, we know the depth of military experience is way beyond what is written on the resume.
Dr. C.J. Rush, Chief Psychiatric Officer
After serving in the Marine Corps for 13 years, I knew my next career would require certain aspects of the Marine Corps that I held near and dear to me. Those were the camaraderie and a sense of purpose in my career and life, and I found both working for CorrHealth.
Joe Garza, Veteran & College Sourcing Coordinator
I have found correctional medicine to be a wonderful new challenge and a new aspect of medicine that I didn’t appreciate previously. I enjoy working with the nurses and health care team as well as the security team. I find the patients to be very interesting and there is a lot of variety to the medical diagnoses and treatment that we provide
Dr. John Thieszen, Site Medical Director
It has been great working as a Health Services Administrator for CorrHealth. Being in the correctional setting, to me, has the same structured environment as the military, which is what I am used to. I have been supervising personnel since 2007, so coming into a supervisory role was just second nature to me, thanks to the Air Force.
Brandi Beard, RN
Corrhealth is by far the best company I’ve worked with in my 13 years as a correctional nurse and 2 years of floor nursing at a hospital. I finally feel supported, appreciated and above all SEEN. When Brandee and Todd come to our site they know us all by name and express their appreciation and that feels amazing.
