Community-Based Care
Developing strong partnership with various community-based providers is essential to providing a continuum of care for our patients, returning to a healthier lifestyle, and ultimately reducing recidivism.
Actively engaging and partnering closely with community resources is a key differentiator between CorrHealth and other providers, as most inmate healthcare providers talk a lot about working closely with community resources in the communities which they serve and working to reduce recidivism, but almost none are actively taking genuine steps in doing so. Community involvement and engaging in partnerships with community providers is imbedded in our foundation and we are serious about investing ourselves and our enhancing partnerships with this complex and essential component. Engaging and developing trusted relationships in the community is a complex process and it requires serious commitment, planning, credibility and experienced professionals to lead these engagements and succeed with these community groups.

We forge strong and successful partnerships with various ancillary provider-partners who are tenured, trusted, and understand our unique population. Our ancillary services help maximize on-site programs and services while minimizing unnecessary off-site transports.
